The Lincoln University Class of 1968 celebrates its 50th Reunion the weekend of May 4-6, 2018.  We hope you are making plans to join us for a wonderful weekend of connecting with classmates, friends, the Lincoln University community… and of course, the Rabble!

Welcome!  Join Us for our 50th Reunion!

A special message from your reunion committee co-chairs

Dear Classmates,

On behalf of the Reunion Committee, we invite you to come back to Lincoln University for our 50th Reunion during Commencement, Founder’s Day and Reunion Weekend on May 4-6, 2018. In addition to renewing relationships, making new friends and reminiscing about our years on campus, we will host a class reunion party on Friday evening  May 4 at the Mendenhall Inn and on Saturday, we will enjoy a Luncheon in our honor as the Emeritus Class and will be recognized that evening at the Alumni Awards Banquet. Commencement will follow on Sunday and our class will lead the procession with the President, faculty, staff and happy students.

This is a particularly momentous year in the life of Lincoln University. Class reunions have been restored to the traditional Commencement weekend and for the first time in our 164-year history, Lincoln University is led by a distinguished alumna, Dr. Brenda Allen ’81, who was installed as our 14th President at Homecoming 2017.  We envision that “our Alma Mater Dear” is well on the road to reclaiming prominence as the leading HBCU in the nation, of which we are a proud, dynamic and loyal class.

Your Reunion Committee is up and running with one goal:  to ensure that your attendance and participation in our 50th Reunion is fun and rewarding.  To facilitate, the Committee (with some tech help) has established this Class of 1968 website as our “cybercenter.”  Here you will find everything you need to know about the who, what, why and where of our Reunion.  We will update the site regularly and we encourage you to visit often, explore, and catch “that “Old Lincoln Spirit” fever.

The Reunion Committee has set an overall fundraising goal of $100,000. Every member of the Class of 1968 is asked to make a gift or commitment to Lincoln University in honor of our milestone reunion, and it is critical that each of us participates in this effort.  EACH class member’s commitment counts in the overall class reunion goal. Gifts and commitments to any of Lincoln's outstanding academic programs will be included in the class reunion goal.

In 1964 we sang this song, "Keep on pushing '68". Classmates, use the links provided to push NOW to make travel arrangements, to register for campus events, book lodging on campus or at the Mendenhall Inn, and make or commit your gift to Lincoln University as our legacy to Lincoln University.

We look forward to seeing you in May!

Constant and True,

Joe Williams ‘68
Dwight Taylor ‘68
