FRIDAY, MAY 4TH

5 – 10 PM: LU Alumni Welcome Center 

Location: Apartment Style Living. Hospitality and Welcome center will be open with coat and luggage check available. 

6:00 - 10 PM: Class of 1968 Reception and Dinner with friends.

Location:  Mendenhall Inn.  Delicious dinner and fellowship with classmates and friends.  Let the reminiscing begin!!!

The price for the LU’68 dinner, tote bag and cap package is $110.00 (early bird on or before April 15) and $125.00 on or before April 30, 2018 and are available online at https://lu68.eventbrite.com or by calling 215-820-1164. Proceeds will be added to Class Gift. 

SATURDAY, MAY 5TH

8:30 - 10:30 AM: Alumni Prayer Breakfast

9:00 - 11:00 AM: Annual Meeting of the AALU


Location: Science Building, Room 12

Join the AALU and President Brenda Allen for her annual State of the University report. There will be an opportunity for questions. 

12:00 -1:30 PM: Emeritus Luncheon honoring the Class of 1968 hosted by President Allen and Alumni Relations - All Classes Prior to 1968

Location:  Student Union Building, Multi-purpose Room

Meet at Wellness Center Atrium, Walking and Driven Tours. Arrive 15 minutes in advance of tour

10:00 AM: The Lincoln University Commencement - Class of ‘68 March in the Academic Procession 

Location: At the “U” (Living and Learning Center. Join members of the Class of 1968 to lead the Commencement Procession at 9:15 AM with Lincoln’s President, Trustees, Faculty and graduates.  Wear your LU'68 cap!

Class of 1968 Reunion Lodging

 
Accommodations are available on campus and we have also reserved a block of rooms at the Mendenhall Inn near Longwood Gardens. Mendenhall Inn is LU'68 Reunion Headquarters.
 
On-campus housing has been reserved for our Emeritus Class on the first floor in the Phase I, Apartment Style Living (ASL) complex.  Apartments accomodate four persons and there is one double.  Reserve online by visiting www.lincoln.edu/ASLhousing or by contacting the Office of Alumni Relations at 484-365-7433.  Use this link to book rooms for two nights in the Apartment Style Living complex. Cost is $140 for two (2) nights.
 
Hotel rooms have been reserved at the special rate of $159.00 per night, double occupancy, at the Mendenhall Inn, 323 Route 52, Kennett Pike, Mendenhall, PA. 19357. The rate includes a full breakfast buffet in the morning.  Call 610-388-2100 for reservations or click this link to register online.  You must book your room(s) at the hotel on or before April 6, 2018.  Reservations after that date will be taken upon availability at regular rate only. There are also limited rooms available at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn, Kennett Square, 610-444-9100, at the rate of $188.00 per night.

Commencement (Sunday)

Commencement will begin at 10 am on Sunday, May 6th.  Our Emeritus Class will lead the procession, along with the President of the University, Administrators and Faculty.  We must be in line, by 9:15 am. Special Emeritus Class sashes will be provided. Also, wear your '68 cap!
